Trade Execution — Not a Marketplace

How Expotal Executes
Real Export Deals

A transparent, 10-step process from verified onboarding to completed trade. Every stage is controlled, every participant is verified, every deal is supported end-to-end.

Why This Is Different

Marketplace vs. Controlled Execution

Expotal is fundamentally different from Alibaba, IndiaMART, or any directory-based platform.

The Deal Flow

10 Steps. One Complete Trade.

Every export deal on Expotal follows this controlled, transparent process from onboarding to delivery.

Step 01

Supplier Onboarding

Manufacturers apply with KYC/KYB documents — GST, IEC, PAN, certifications, capacity declaration, and export readiness details. Every profile is built for trade, not browsing.

Step 02

Physical Verification

Our team visits the manufacturing facility to validate operations, production capacity, and compliance. This generates the Supplier Credibility Score (SCS) — a 70–100 rating displayed on every profile.

Step 03

Buyer Submits RFQ

International buyers submit structured requirements — product specs, quantity, destination country, payment terms, and inspection needs. No random browsing, only actionable demand.

Step 04

Matching Engine Activates

Our algorithm evaluates 12+ parameters — category, capacity, pricing, payment compatibility, export readiness, location, certifications — and generates a Match Score (%) for each pair.

Step 05

Controlled RFQ Distribution

Only relevant, qualified suppliers receive the RFQ. No open marketplace access. Admin controls distribution, ensuring quality over quantity in every match.

Step 06

Deal Negotiation

Matched suppliers express interest, submit quotes, and negotiate terms within the platform. Structured interaction — no uncontrolled communication.

Step 07

Inspection & Quality Check

Third-party inspection coordinated through the platform. For ETAP members, this is mandatory — ensuring goods meet buyer specifications before shipment.

Step 08

Payment Structuring

Escrow-supported payment options protect both parties. Funds are held securely until delivery confirmation. Supports LC, advance, and BL payment terms.

Step 09

Logistics & Shipment

End-to-end logistics coordination — CHA, freight, documentation, and shipment tracking. Everything managed from a single platform.

Step 10

Trade Complete

Delivery confirmed, payment released, credibility scores updated. The deal is recorded in trade history, strengthening both parties' profiles for future matching.

Core System

The Matching Engine

This is NOT simple category-based matching. Our engine evaluates multiple dimensions to generate a Match Score (%) for every buyer-supplier pair.

Category Match

Product type and HS code alignment between supplier catalog and buyer requirement.

Capacity Alignment

Production capacity vs. order quantity — ensuring the supplier can actually deliver.

Payment Compatibility

Payment terms the buyer needs vs. what the supplier accepts (LC / Advance / BL).

Export Readiness

IEC, certifications, inspection readiness, logistics capability.

Location Advantage

Proximity to ports, destination market trade agreements, and shipping routes.

Compliance & Certs

ISO, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, or any buyer-mandated certification requirements.

Each parameter is weighted and scored. The final Match Score (%) determines which suppliers receive the RFQ. Only qualified matches are distributed — no spray-and-pray.

Trust Infrastructure

Supplier Credibility Score (SCS)

Replacing subjective reviews with data-driven, verifiable trust signals.

Static Score

Assigned during onboarding based on verified documentation.

  • GST Registration
  • Import Export Code (IEC)
  • PAN Verification
  • Quality Certifications (ISO, GOTS, etc.)
  • Physical Site Verification
Score Range
70 — 100

Dynamic Score

Evolves over time based on actual trade behavior and performance.

  • Number of completed deals
  • Total deal value
  • Buyer satisfaction ratings
  • Delivery timeline accuracy
  • Dispute history & resolution
